Canonsburg Ambulance Services provide emergency medical coverage for North Strabane Township and the surrounding areas. The service employs 15 full-time and 20 part-time emergency medical technicians and paramedics, and an office staff of 2. The units are designated advanced life support with service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The service also provides non-emergency medical transports and has 2 convalescent coaches available for alternative means of transportation. A medi-van service is also offered for those who can walk to the curb, but need transportation to the hospital for outpatient procedures. The service is free. All emergencies needing an ambulance should contact 911. Non-emergency use or alternative transportation should contact the office.
Membership rates are available by contacting Canonsburg Ambulance Service at 724-745-6911. The annual subscription drive is during the fall and is effective January 1 through December 31.
